Celebrate one of the most iconic landmarks of the North East with this bold and atmospheric high-resolution photograph of the Angel of the North, Antony Gormley’s monumental sculpture overlooking the A1 near Gateshead. Standing 20 metres tall with a wingspan of 54 metres, the Angel symbolises strength, resilience, and the spirit of the North – a striking fusion of art and engineering seen by millions every year.

This image captures the sculpture in all its rust-hued glory, set against a dramatic sky and lush green landscape. The composition emphasises its sweeping form and commanding presence, making it the perfect print-ready piece for those who appreciate modern landmarks, Northern identity, or bold architectural design.
